So I have done it! I have become a qualified nail technician in gel nail, gel polish and manicure and pedicure. I am so pleased with myself. At 35 years old (almos 36) I never thought I would be starting a new career but here I am. It is amazing and I am loving it. Unfortunatly I have an issue where I am allergic to gel that you put on the nails so I have to wear gloves when I have a client. I won't be giving up, even if it mean contact dermatitus on my hands! I thought I would post a few pictures of some nails I have done!

CHARIZARD
By far the most complex I have made is the Charizard which required wire and all sorts of jiggling around. I am so pleased with how it turned out. this was for a prize for a Pokemon Go Cornwall competition and over £120 was raised for cancer research which is amazing! I also have made a little Jigglypuff...another super cute Pokemon!
Mew and Vaporeon
I have always liked Mew and it was great fun to make and very easy. I love Eevee and all of the evolution it can become but Vaporeon is my most favorite Eevee evoluition
Pokemon so far
These are the Pokemon for the first Pokedrop that I did. It went really well and got a lot of good feedback!
STARTING AGAIN
Some may have noticed that this isn't a new blog but is an old blog I am recycling. I always seem to have great ideas of starting these things and then I never follow through I never stick to anything I think I know why! I have been trying to blog about things that are personal and sometimes difficult to write about, and also things that arn't that intresting! So I have come at this froma new angle and I am going to start this blog about something I love to do ad something that gives me enjoyment and stress relief....CROCHET. What I hear some people say, crochet is for old people....I will stop you here as crochet is for anyone. I am 35yrs old and I love it. I suffer from anxiety and depression and I find that crochet really helps to relieve it all, it isn't a cure and won't work for everyone but it does work for me.
I enjoy all types of crochet but I very much enjoy Amigurumi.
Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small, usually cute stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures.
I am currently crocheting a number of Pokemon characters which I hide at Pokestops in my area for people to find!
